-Magic Pocket's Engine

Magic Pockets developed its own Engine which enables, among other things, powerful 2D and 3D performance for the most demanding projects on both DS and iPhone.

Engine

Cutting-edge display power

-          Highly optimized core allows a constant 60fps display

-          Incredibly varied sceneries are now possible on DS & iPhone, thanks to an unlimited amount of
graphical assets in a single 3D scene: textures, meshes, animations, sound effects, etc.

-          3D landscapes are virtually endless, mixing external and internal locations

(we made a 30,000 m² demo...)

-          2D display power is managed in a smart and versatile manner: automated sprites composition,

multiple picture formats and compression types, scrolls, scaling, rotations, etc.

Coders focus on game play

-          Coder are freed from tedious tasks like maintaining configuration files or data lists

-          Magic Pockets Engine does not require big teams of coders: one or two coders are

           enough on an average project

-          Assets are managed automatically during execution without impacting on display speed

-          This automation reduces dramatically the amount of system bugs, speeding-up and

            securing the approval procedures

Freedom for artists and designers

-          Magic Pockets Engine pushes back the platform limits and allows the designers to

           create ambitious settings

-          Artists are no longer forced to perform complex memory space calculations and

           can focus on quality

-          No specific tool to learn: the file formats are the most common on the market

-          Everyone can get a quick feedback on their job: final assets are integrated

and reviewable in-game in a few seconds.
